1. Is there any prerequisite learning to be met for enrolling myself in the Veda class
No previous learning is required. Don't skip the class, dedicate 4 hours in a week to learn, and practice atleast
1 hour a day at home. Doing Trikaala Sandhyavandanam daily is mandatory. Dedicated classes will be arranged
for a.) Correcting the pronunciation b.) Learning/correcting the procedure.
2. Is the Veda class planned only on the weekends?
Yes, the current focus is to start weekend classes only (Saturday & Sundays), 4 hours a week - 8 classes a month
(16 hours).
3. Is the weekend Veda class planned only in Chennai ?
Though we began our shakas in Chennai City, due to overwhelming response we are happy to extend it to other
major cities across India.
4. How and when the location of the classes finalized?
Multiple areas will be grouped to make a single batch. Illustration - In Chennai, East & West Tambaram,Selaiyur,
Camp Road can be considered as a single batch, Pallavaram,Chrompet can be considered other batch. The final
grouping depends on the number of respondents from each area/city.The above is only for illustration purpose.

5. Is there a standard syllabus for the classes?
Yes, The Syllabus is centralized and standardized for all the batches. The students will be trained on the following
as basic and advanced courses for 2 years. Sandhya Vandanam, Madhyanikam, Sayam Sandhya Vandanam, Samitha Dhanam, Brahma
Yagnam, Purusha Sooktham, Sree Sooktham, Manthra Pushpam, Gayathiri Manthram on various devata, Narayana Sooktham,
Durga Sooktham, Bhoo Sooktham, Neela Sooktham, Nithya Pooja Mantras, Pancha Shanti Mantras, Sree Rudram, Chamakam,
Seekshavalli (Thaitthiriya Upanishad), Anandavalli, Brahuvalli(Thaitthirirya Upanishad), Mahanyasa Anuvakaas,
Stories from Vedas and Puranas, Anushtana Niyamam, Vedic way of life and its benefits, how to harmonize nithya
karma anushtaanam in modern world, do's and dont's along with its rationale etc.
6. Does the syllabus branch out to the specific Veda ( Rig, Yajur, Sama)
Yes, that is the plan. Upon completing the preparatory studies and its comfortable implementation by the vidhyarthis
as a nithya karma, they will be initiated to their svasaakha paatam. That is, their respective Vedas.
7. Is there a Dakshina for the Vadhyar?
There will be a quaterly upfront payment of Vadhyar Dakshina for the classes. We shall communicate the exact Dakshina
via email / hand phone. Please note, even if you skip a few classes due to unavoidable reasons, requesting
you to pay the dakshina which will be very nominal..
8. Is the venue for each batch finalized?
No. Venue can be decided only after the registration is over. We will communicate the venue via email / hand
phone. On a general note, the class will be conducted in one or more Grhaas,Hosting by rotation is also welcome..

9. Is there a point of contact (POCs) for each area?
Yes, we will publish the point of contact for each area. The points of contact will facilitate the smooth functioning
of the classes. POCs can be rotated based on the individual's interest in taking additional responsibilities.
10. Is there any books prescribed for the class?
Yes, we shall follow uniform book as prescribed by the authentic source. The publisher, name of the book and
cost will be communicatedat appropriate time via email / hand phone.However it is advised to learn Vedas by
hearing and reciting it repeatedly(tiruvai).
11. Can I request for change in Syllabus?
No, the syllabus for the entire course is fixed by a group of competent Vaidhikaas. We need to just follow Vaadhyar
instructions and keep learning.
12. Is there a plan to start new batch after the initial batch?
Yes, it will be a continuous process. New batches can be added, however it depends on
the number of persons who would like to enroll in each area. We may need a minimum of 6 to 10 dedicated persons
to start a new batch.
13. Is the class available via Skype or other modes of online learning?
Vedas are best learnt through a Guru, in person. There are no plans to take this online.
14. Is there a dress code to be followed?
Yes. Grhastaas should come in Panchakacham and Brahmacharis in Veshti.
